Avalon Hotel Paris, Paris

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent, being very close to Gare du Nord and with easy access to the Metro, making it convenient for transportation. However, the rooms were quite disappointing, small, and basic, with limited space that made using the A/C impossible and even sitting comfortably on the toilet with the door closed. The service was a bit of a hit and miss with super friendly and helpful staff overall, but there were delays in organizing the room key on arrival and one staff member at breakfast ignored us completely. The dining options were just OK, not standing out in comparison to nearby restaurants, and the facilities were average.
